PEANUTS

(Arachis hypogaea – family Fabaceae)

The peanut is a fake nut, as it is rather a legume than a nut. The peanuts are very high in protein and represent a good source of B vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc and calcium.
They ripe underground. And contain approximately 50% fat (predominantly unsaturated fatty acids), 26% protein and 19% carbohydrates.

A curious fact is that It is believed peanuts to have more protein, minerals and vitamins than beef liver and more calories than sugar.
